BlueKnights Advance to the Region XIII Championship

The BlueKnights took on a tough game at Bay College Wednesday night in Escanaba, MI. 

The first 12 minutes consisted of 5 ties and 3 lead changes. The BlueKnights went on a 18-2 run to finish the first half, giving them a 47-30 lead at the half. The Norse were able to put together a run late in the 2nd half to bring the game within 4 points with five minutes remaining on the game clock. The BlueKnights stayed composed and made big plays down the stretch to secure the win 82-71.

Harlyn Owens led all scorers with 28 points.  Lorenzo Smith added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the Blue Knights, while Deshawn Walker ended with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Amitri Collins 8 points and 5 steals, Daevonte Munson added 11 points.

BlueKnights advance to the Region XIII Championship. Sundays matchup against United Tribes will be a rematch of last years championship game which was won by the BlueKnights in overtime.  Tip off is at 2pm.
